    i'm not able to connect to the internet and when i plug my net usb it doesn't works. Then how to download kernel and gcc on ubuntu , can i download it from other sources then install on ubuntu?

    +Gota7 Chromium is the same as Chrome but has all the adsense and all the spyware and tracking taken out ....stay with Chromiun is my advise

    Just go to the chrome website. They have a file for linux users.

    Best thing to do is formating the drive and install Windows.

    installs on most Intel cpu computers
    Pentium 4 and up, installs on some AMD cpu computers but very few. Installs on Mac G4 MDD but You Tube videos won't play

    After all the years and all the suggestions, all flavors of Linux still have this "non user friendly" aspect. OK, if you have been away for awhile just stick with it, ask questions (don't get butt hurt from the "friendly" Linux community) and you will end up with a very useful operating system. Ok I know it is easier to just "Window's it" but where is your sense of adventure?(and it is free)
