What's WordPress?

WordPress is one of the most popular website building platforms on the Internet. Including notable companies, such as: CNN, Forbes, Sony and others use it.

WordPress is a completely free platform maintained by a group of volunteers spread all over the world.

The reason why it's so special is due to how easily you can make an impressive website without having any code knowledge. For more information check their official website here: https://wordpress.org/

Why You Must Choose a Domain Name?

A domain name is nothing more than a name for your website. For instance:

If you decide to choose Hostgator, you'll get your first domain name for free.

As for extension, you can use a .COM if you have intentions in building a commercial website; Or, .ORG for a non-profit, or free content website.

Both are the most common extensions you'll find online. However, you have others you may want to try.

Why You Need a Web-Host Provider?

A web-host company provides space on their servers. Where all the information belonging to your website is stored. At the same time, they're responsible of putting your website on the Internet so other people can view it.

I enjoy to use Hostgator. For a small monthly fee, they offer a high-quality service. For more information check their website here: hostgator.com

What's a CPanel?

When you login to your Hostgator account, you'll see its CPanel. Over here, you can find plenty of options to manage your domain, sub-domain names, website files, web-mail and much more.

You shouldn't feel discourage for seeing 101 small icons. I know it might seem confusing at first. But soon you'll realize, you only need 3 or 4 of those options to pretty much do everything you need!

Why You Should Get a Web-Mail?

The first thing you should always do for every single new website is get its own email. This email you will later on use for anything related to your website.

How to Install WordPress?

Once you're in your web-host's Cpanel, search for a small icon, which says, "Quick Install". After you're redirected to the next page, just seek for "Install WordPress" and click on it.

Afterward, it's pretty straightforward! You just need to follow the steps mentioned.

How to Login to Your WordPress Dashboard?

After you installed WordPress, you must go to your website by typing in its URL in your browser.

At first glance, your new website won't seem very impressive! The reason is you need to start working on WordPress dashboard by changing to another theme, adding new content, images, etc.

For this, just go the URL bar in your browser and type in, "www.example.com/WP-ADMIN". After you pressed enter, you're redirect to your site's login page. Over here, just insert your Username and password, and voila!

How to Install a WordPress Theme?

After you login to your dashboard, you'll see a sidebar in the left side. You'll pass most of your time working with the several options in this panel.

One of the first things you should do is change the design of your website aka theme. For this, search under the appearance section for themes.

After you click on themes, you'll see the ones currently installed on your website.

On the top of this page, there's a small blue button saying, "Add New". You must click on it! In the next page, , you can choose between features, popular and latest themes. You have plenty of choice!

The theme I opted to use for this website is called, "Sydney!" I really enjoy this theme a lot! It looks smart and slick! Besides, it's amazingly easy to configure. I highly recommend it to any new-webmaster out there!

How to Configure Your WordPress Theme?

Once again go to appearance on your dashboard's sidebar, and click on customize. You're prompt to another page. Where you'll find plenty of options to fully personalize your website to your taste.

Facebook Advertising Coupon – What Happened?

It used to be that Facebook had many different promotions in which they gave out free $50 advertising coupons. Facebook Advertising Coupon is only getting from some hosting service that is include in godaddy Hostgator and 1and1, If you do a search for “Free Facebook Coupons” on Google you’ll probably see some results like this: Free coupon when you buy WordPress hosting through GoDaddy Free coupon when you setup a DIY website through specific website builders Free coupon when you “like” Facebook’s Marketing page Unfortunately none of these are still active. What happened is in mid-2015 Facebook tightened their hold on advertising credit coupons, likely in response to companies who were “reselling” coupons on eBay and Fiverr. Contextual Design and Development is the Driving Force Behind all Successful Mobile Applications

The time of ordinary custom web application design & development is long gone. Today the focus is on contextual design and development. It is the rise in the popularity of mobile applications that has provided the impetus for giving importance to ‘context’ when it comes to app or web development. Let’s focus our attention on mobile applications and why mobile applications need to be developed keeping the context in mind. Because they are used in diverse locations Let’s face it. We all love mobile apps because they can be used just about anywhere and at any given point of time. Yes, that’s right, they can be used in offices, on a train, in the kitchen, movie theatre and the list just goes on. So, the app needs to be developed in context of the location. Different users have different needs when it comes to a mobile app and these needs, in part, are determined by their location. For e.g. if a developer thinks a particular app that is in the process of being developed will onl
