How to Create a WordPress Blog Step-by-Step - Part I

Hi there, welcome to another Prositetutorials video and it's time to professionalize your website!

In this video, I will how you can create a WordPress blog step-by-step. You'll learn everything that you need so you can start in the right path. But before we continue, let's talk about a few things...

What's WordPress?

WordPress is a free platform that allows you to easily create an impressive looking website without having any coding knowledge at all.

This platform is one of the most famous ones on Internet due to how easy it is to maintain and the fact that you can build any type of website you desire with it.

You can create an e-commerce website where you can promote your products or service, or a nice looking photographic website where you can show your work.

In this case, I am going to explain how you can build a normal blog. A blog is a website where you daily or weekly write content for your audience.

This blog can be about anything you want. In my video, I did a cooking blogging, since I enjoy it.

Furthermore, WordPress is constantly being maintained by army of volunteers all over the world. You can also access their forums or website in case you need help or want a free theme.

What's a Web-host and Domain Name?

A web-host is nothing more than a company that provides some space on their servers where you can install your website. Also they publish your website on the Internet. Like any other businesses, there are always some up front costs. In this case, you need to pay a small fee to have a website online.

However, there is no other business where you can start with only having 7 bucks in your pock as this one. Besides, earn good money as your website becomes famous.

This means, you basically have huge return of investment.

Domain name you already certainly know what this is, you probably just never heard this term. Does...

... ring a bell? They certainly do and they are all domain names. A domain name is nothing more than an address for a particular website and an easy way for people to find the content you display over the Internet.

Why do you need a website email?

Along the video, I explain how you can get an email account just for your website and there are good reasons for you to have one.

1. Having a Gmail or Outlook email for your website doesn't seem very professional for your visitors.
2. You certainly don't want to receive email from your visitors or worse spam to your inbox.

For this reason, it's always a good idea to have one for each specific website you make.

What's WordPress Backoffice?

This is WordPress back end and where you will spend most of your time building and improving your website. Over here, you can find plenty of option, such as:

- Add posts
- Add Pages
- Install Plugins
- Change Appearance

Just to name a few of them.

Why Use WordPress Theme?

I consider this to be one of the greatest features in regards to WordPress. A theme is the overall design of your website. Using WordPress you can easily change your website's appearance in a matter of seconds.

The best part is you don't even need to know Html / CSS to be able to do this! However, I always recommend for you to make a backup. You certainly don't want to install a buggy theme that may ruin your website resulting in the loss of your content.

The theme we are going to use in this video is called, "JustWrite." I use this design for several of my website and I simply love it. It offers a clean layout and plenty of options for you to configure your website to your taste.

How to make a Logo?

In this video, I explain how you can use Photoshop to make a logo. I use this software for every single images I create for my website and I simply love it. I know it's not a complete free option, however, you can still get a 30 day free trial from their website. You can try it for a full month and see if you actually want to stick with it or not.

Facebook Advertising Coupon – What Happened?

It used to be that Facebook had many different promotions in which they gave out free $50 advertising coupons. Facebook Advertising Coupon is only getting from some hosting service that is include in godaddy Hostgator and 1and1, If you do a search for “Free Facebook Coupons” on Google you’ll probably see some results like this: Free coupon when you buy WordPress hosting through GoDaddy Free coupon when you setup a DIY website through specific website builders Free coupon when you “like” Facebook’s Marketing page Unfortunately none of these are still active. What happened is in mid-2015 Facebook tightened their hold on advertising credit coupons, likely in response to companies who were “reselling” coupons on eBay and Fiverr. As a result, Facebook ended many of these promotions. Facebook Advertising Coupon Facebook Ads can get expensive pretty quickly. There’s no secret about that. Contextual Design and Development is the Driving Force Behind all Successful Mobile Applications

The time of ordinary custom web application design & development is long gone. Today the focus is on contextual design and development. It is the rise in the popularity of mobile applications that has provided the impetus for giving importance to ‘context’ when it comes to app or web development. Let’s focus our attention on mobile applications and why mobile applications need to be developed keeping the context in mind. Because they are used in diverse locations Let’s face it. We all love mobile apps because they can be used just about anywhere and at any given point of time. Yes, that’s right, they can be used in offices, on a train, in the kitchen, movie theatre and the list just goes on. So, the app needs to be developed in context of the location. Different users have different needs when it comes to a mobile app and these needs, in part, are determined by their location. For e.g. if a developer thinks a particular app that is in the process of being developed will onl
