Do you want to learn how to delete Proudly Powered by WordPress text appearing on the bottom section of your website? Well, in this video I explain two easy ways to quickly remove it.
You can choose the easier option to change, "Powered by WordPress" if you're new to WordPress. Or, if you're more experienced then the second alternative might be more suitable, since you don't need to overload your website with more plugins!
1 - Install Simple Custom CSS
The first option is the easiest one. Basically, all you need to do is to install, "Simple Custom CSS" plugin. This plugin lets you easily configure the CSS coding of your website.
Afterward, copy and paste the coding below into the CSS box...

display:none;
}
Press update and voilá you no longer have power by WordPress line!
2 - Edit Website Coding
This option is a bit more complicated because you need to alter the coding inside of your website. If you don't feel very comfortable with this then stick to this first alternative.
Anyway, go to appearance and click on the "Editor" section. Next, you'll see plenty of files belonging to your website. You want to choose the one called, "Footer.php."
For better explanation please watch this part of the video. You want to remove the right line. Afterward, copy and paste the next coding so you can include your copyright in the footer section of your website:

Where you see the + signs exchange from them for brackets. For someone reason, Youtube doesn't let me put brackets in the description of my video.
