  10. This worked fine for me on 16.04 LTS. When you first run it, there's even an option to add it to the desktop launcher. Thanks.

  15. Hi,
    I am getting error while adding repository
    please check the below error -

    Traceback (most recent call last):
    File "/usr/bin/add-apt-repository", line 128, in
    ppa_info = get_ppa_info_from_lp(user, ppa_name)
    File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/softwareproperties/ppa.py", line 84, in get_ppa_info_from_lp
    curl.perform()
    pycurl.error: (6, "Couldn't resolve host 'launchpad.net'")

    repository is added, -
    [email protected]:/etc/apt/sources.list.d$ pwd
    /etc/apt/sources.list.d
    [email protected]:/etc/apt/sources.list.d$ ll
    total 24
    drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Sep 22 12:50 ./
    drwxr-xr-x 6 root root 4096 Sep 21 14:37 ../
    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 52 Sep 22 14:55 scootersoftware.list
    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 52 Sep 22 14:55 scootersoftware.list.save
    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 136 Sep 22 14:55 webupd8team-java-precise.list
    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 136 Sep 22 14:55 webupd8team-java-precise.list.save

    i think repository is added by GUI tool software center , this still not working .
    still could not able to resolve -

    W: Failed to fetch http://www.scootersoftware.com/dists/stable/Release.gpg Could not resolve 'www.scootersoftware.com'

    W: Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/webupd8team/java/ubuntu/dists/precise/Release.gpg Could not resolve 'ppa.launchpad.net'

    W: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

    please suggest

    you need to install flask. python doesn't come with flask, django or other such libraries. you may try anaconda

    +Vikash Chandola, I have flask installed. Pycharm just won't use my system installs or pip installs.

    In PyCharm, I have an "import flask" statement. When I run it, it says "No module called flask." When I open the terminal from PyCharm, the import works. What could this be?
