ReplyDeletethe sudo purge removes it so dont do that after you install. it defeats the purpose

ReplyDeleteif it doesnt work for you guys just download openjdk from ubuntu app store
ReplyDeleteIt won't show anything when you type, but you still are typing. Essentially type your password normally and then press enter. Hope this helps :)

ReplyDeleteLinux is one of the most difficult to use operating systems that are main stream. (Mac & Windows)
Been spending all day trying to setup this Dell Zino 410 on Lubuntu.
I am just lucky the majority of the drivers were already found.
Now I am getting into the smaller things and even stuff like this has proven to be a huge pain!
But once its done its done!

ReplyDeleteFor sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/java it says "sudo: add-apt-repository: command not found"
