How to Use WordPress Dashboard?
In this video you're going to learn how to use WordPress dashboard. Where later on, you'll pass most of your time tweaking your website, writing new content, etc.

1 - How to login to your WordPress dashboard?
Just go to the top section of your browser where you see your URL. Over here write the following, "www.example.com/WP-ADMIN" and press enter. In the next page, add your username and password.
2 - WordPress Dashboard
The first page you see isn't very useful after a while. However, when you're starting out you may find some good information. You are able:
- Switch to a new theme
- See how many posts and comments you have
- Read the latest WordPress news, etc.
3 - Updates
In this section, you are able to see if you need to update your website's plugins or theme.
4 - Posts
You'll pass great part of your time over here, possibly creating new content.
5 - Media Library
In this section, you'll be able to see all the images added to your website.
6 - Pages
You should use pages for every static page you want in your website. This includes: contact page, about page, etc.
7 - Comments
All the comments displayed in your website. You can manage and review them in this section.
8 - Appearance
In this section, you can do a lot of things, including:
- Switch to a new theme and customize it
- Change your sidebar widgets
- Create menus
9 - Plugins
I would say this is the most powerful feature from WordPress. Using plugins you can pretty much turn your website to anything you want. For instance:
- Akismet: blocks great part of your daily comment spam.
- Jetpack: add a huge amount of functions to your website.
10 - Users
This section let's you manage the users you have in your website. You can give them administrator roles and access to your blog beyond other things.
11 - Tools
This options allows you to do manual backups of your WordPress website.
12 - Settings
In this section, you can change the different settings from your blog, comments and other aspects.
